vxthemajortomxv441: They had a proven formula in D3 that there is no need to have the level cap at 100, they just wanted to do something different for D4 and then realized 60% of the player base never got to 100 as its a chore.
VestibuIe: I never understood why they went for all these bloated numbers in diablo 3/4. Having lower numbers like in 1/2 was a lot easier on the mind and eyes.
Arafax: Setting it to 60 now allows them to raise the level cap in future expansions in a way that is more appealing than raising it to 110 would have been.
Gungrave123: After OW2 becoming OW1 officially, now D4 is finally reverting fully to D3.
gasman555: I'm just hoping that the paragon points are Account-wide: that will make leveling alts a lot easier.
vikoy07: Hmmm. Isn't this functionally the same as in the current game? Level 1-50 awards you Skill points for your skill tree. Level 51-100 awards you Paragon point for the Paragon board. (4 paragon points per level or 200 paragon points).
With this change, Level 1-60 will award skill points for your skills ( 10 skill points from vanilla). Then instead of Level 61-110 awarding 4 paragon points per level, it will now just be called Paragon Level 1-200.
So, they're just changing the name.

cinnabun117: As a Teamsters member, I'm so glad game devs are finally unionizing. Seeing how the non-union players in my industry are treated compared to what I get is crazy. If your union is strong, it really does improve peoples quality of life.
