msi1985: I'm actually pretty disappointed with the team that handles the PTR. One of my biggest complaints is that it seems like that team is very lazy and what they do to orchestrate a good environment for us the players to test. They don't have to reinvent the wheel but they can look to other game platforms and previous series in the Diablo franchise to see what had worked for their PTR. This includes things like an item cache that will drop a copious amount of gold materials crafting goods, a ton of resplendent Sparks so we could just craft items, along with class specific or generic unique. This would give us the opportunity to dive in and start testing some of these builds at the end game level. Instead what we end up with is a scenario where we have to farm the PTR which feels really bad. It also doesn't give us a real accurate representation of how people can handle the new seasonal mechanic with the rebalanced game design with the new edition of the unique items they have added this season. I think they really need some all hands on deck testing to ensure that we end up with something that's reasonable for all the classes. I've said it once I've said it a barbillion times... The Barbarian can't be the only op class in the game with multiple builds. Either they Nerf the Barb down to where everyone else is or they bring everyone else up to where the Barbarian is.... I think the smart play is to bring everyone else up to that level. Otherwise just rename the entire game franchise Barbarian
SoGod: Season 1: trash
Season 2 : nice
Season 3 : who even played it?
Season 4 : very nice
Season 5 : well we all know how it goes.
PuffGroundHoggy: I mean it's odd number season. Nothing surprising
justinsurpless4137: I hate the torment stacks… they’re tolerable on Torment bosses but the Pit bosses have too much going on at times
greyosprey4096: As a casual and less skilled player, I probably won't touch this feature/mode. There's already the over-cooked Helltide, NM dungeons, the Pit, The Gauntlet, and [uber] bosses in the game that is more than enough difficulty for my skill level. Seems all they care about is content for the top 1%. Personally, I'd like to see them do something with the open world and consolidate some of the currencies, which I think are already getting out of hand.
silviupopescu1679: They should change the name from Diablo to The Barbarian Game
reactionjunkie7891: Im only gonna be playing the even seasons. The odd season team just keeps shitting the bed.
pitecusH: In terms of the loot we get at the end of the hordes, it baffles me that they, for some reason, REALLY hate deterministic things and REALLY LOVE adding layers upon layers upon layer of RNG onto your every move.
I don’t want it to rain legendaries like in D3 or Borderlands. I don’t want to receive 40 items and insta salvage 39 of them.
It’s fine if the T8 compass gives 3 items… if they are 3 items of QUALITY.
Why that seems to be such a hard concept to grasp (other than the obvious forced played retention) I’ll never understand.
SmiileySmiiles: I hate boss debuffs, you are right, I don’t believe I hear any YouTuber wanting more debuffs
brucewelsh1969: As a casual player I actually got two characters to 100 and enjoyed season 4. I felt powerful. Not sure about season 5 but will give it a go but if it's not good then will look at another title to play. I think that's the rub, people will play if they feel good or feel they are powerful but leave if it is the opposite.
michaelscott2093: my biggest ask for uniques is the game needs less shacos and tyraels and grandfathers and more black rivers. Uniques should make new builds possible or change existing builds in a fun way. The best example of this always brings me back to PoE. There is a bow in that game that makes all your lightning damage poison. Which then changes the build in every way damage wise. I hope one day we get to that point in D4. More fractured winterglasses less crown of lucions.
