dk_power: People getting mad at you for finding an exploit on the PTR is peak cringe behaviour.
Touchin-Grass: They need to change hard and expert to Nightmare and Hell. Keep the Diablo theme going.
paendamonium: Pit 20 to unlock T1 definitely reminds me of GR20 as a checkpoint in D3
Rizarjay: In the video, you talk about how you think the journey from Torment 1 to 4 is probably gonna happen on day 1 or 2.. But when the expansion drops, we won't have the 201 paragon levels to start with.. Did you go back and try the 65 Pit without all the Paragon points allocated? I'm curious how fast the early paragon grind will go, and how it will feel without having all of our aspects unlocked, tempering recipes found, etc.. The item 750 gear also won't have the 2x Tempers and 12/12 masterworking that our legacy items were able to have, so we'll feel quite a bit weaker. I think this is good tho. Things have been too easy.
JSDRB: Maxing out glyphs should definitely have a really cool effect. Bathe my screen with a cow rave.
edday1662: I love that strongholds will give you something. I’m one of those OCD players that takes a couple hours with each new character and goes and beats all the strongholds cause I hate seeing them undone on the map. I need all my way points and all those cleared.
CasualDadGamer: Thank you Raxx and the entire community for taking the time to play test VoH and give us (and Blizzard) your feedback. Super helpful as always. Cheers!
mirage1857: I love the strongholds, I wish they would do more with them. Have them reset during the season with some sort of event. Make that a whisper worth 5 whatever it is. Not the original event for the stronghold, have them be attacked by angels I don't know and you have to repel them.
vertigowren6919: Please add to your list Druid class quest still sucks. Slowest class mechanic unlock and now the damn offerings take up precious inventory space because quest items don’t have their own tab anymore.
Jamibi: Just can't believe it has taken this long for a party finder to be implemented in Diablo 4. Looking forward to it though!
brainardt: Couldn't agree more with the dopamine hit. I got my first mythic unique this season, and when i saw the purple beam, I almost jumped out of my chair. (Tyriel) It kept me playing long enough to get the shacko. Havent played in over a week after the rush fell off, and my lightning spear sorcerer just destroys everything. (Casual player - play one class a season). Side note: This is the longest I've stayed engaged in a season. Something felt right.
roflixo: i've been playing since the beta (beta, release, all the seasons).
For me, the biggest issue is the fact that they keep introducing things like new mechanics etc. that are designed so poorly it is truly mindblowing. It also takes them FOREVER to fix those downsides - think about Uber Boss re-summoning without instance resets, those mid-dungeon rooms they recently removed (those with artificially timed events that gave 0 exp and killed all the momentum you had) or even paragon/talent reset button. Hell, they still don't have loadouts for talents/paragon - something that seems so fucking basic that it drives me crazy to think they just ignore it.
All of those poor poor decisions they have made, all the pain, only for them to essentially rework the game into Diablo 3 2
dakotapettit4894: The tempering recipes should hold the last one you used and have a button to swap it out. We should just be able to hit "re-temper" to reroll. Choosing it every time is atrocious
sindex: I swear to god, they need to hire someone like Raxx not just to give free feedback, but to sit in on their UI and UX meetings and point these things out as early as possible. There is literally nothing in this video I disagree with, except that I wish the entire campfire scene was shown and it zoomed in on the character you've picked. I don't like the single view, personally.
ShadowSong88: They make the same mistakes as in Diablo 3
thoso1973: It would be sooo easy to update the tempering list interface with color-themed subcategories; so cold temperings are light blue, fire temperings are red and so on...
JulianFedericoHecker: Learning English and Diablo IV stuff with you with your nice and slow talk! Greetings from Argentina!
hotpancakes9814: Mark my words… they will be making T4 even easier after people cry on Reddit about how hard it is to get there… they need to keep it hard to get to T4 so it feels like a real accomplishment
DiablozStyx: I dont get why we need all those difficulty modes. Make 3. Normal. Nightmare, Hell.
pilotfalcon: and we need leaderboards !
Voltairus30: I completely agree with Raxx on the animations for things like glyphs going to legendary. They put so much time and effort into adding fancy animations for things that don't actually mean anything and that you have to open/spam often. Like going into the Shop, you have to wait for that silly card animation without being able to disable or skip it.
That's neat the first time you see it but we don't need it every time I want to glance at the shop for anything. Same with Tempering and Master working. Its neat the first few times you do it but when you are at the point you are going to be spamming it a few dozen times after grinding mats for a while, you realize there should be an option to disable it entirely, not just an extra button press to skip it.
But things like finishing a Stronghold, finding a Mythic unique, or even multiple greater affix gear should all have big explosive animations and sounds for that dopamine hit so that its memorable. Its an easy thing to do for such a nice payoff, I don't understand how they always manage to flip flop on things like that.
seanmiddleton3055: I still don’t have a moment when a mythic drops. It’s lost in a sea of legendaries and I don’t know it happened until I check my inventory.
adamrfletcher: FIRST
fatalexception1269: I wish they would introduce nightmare strongholds. These could be once-a-day reset of a random stronghold. Max level only and beef the mob count and level significantly. At the end you get a little bit of everything in the game, including glyph xp - though not enough to make specialist activities redundant.
I always felt strongholds were some of the best content in the game. They had some pretty dark backstories behind them and they are quick enough to do so as not to be a chore.
beingbeyonddat: The endgame is really bad IMO. I leveled up 4 of my glyphs to 80 and went to T4 to farm better gear but:
1. In around 5 hours only 1 Ancestral item dropped and it didn't have a single useful affix (impairment reduction as GA, just like in S4 and S5)
2. The tormented bosses (Varshan, Duriel, Zir and Beast) dropped MAGIC items... Come on, Blizzard!!!! You just made those bosses to stop dropping yellows, and now you even go as far as magic items for the ultimate tier?
3. The paragon system will be changed for sure. I don't think the 5 board restriction is any good at all. There are still plenty of pointless choices but the game is forcing us to take more nodes like armor just to cap, even when some of those come with nothing useful or the route is a waste for the build.
I wasn't quiet while people were saying that this is a nerf for players because I thought it wasn't but it feels like it, especially in the very late game where you are doing everything in T4 but you are still getting magic items. I hope they take a look at that, we shouldn't be seeing magic items in T4.
ShaveItDown: Idk why they went back to the shitty ass torment system of D3. I liked the world tier progression.
Zordiak17: its still a bad game what a surprise
tornadothebrit: One giant complaint i have about Beast In Ice is when they use that giant sweep attack and knock you into the DOT spiral, you struggle to see the marks on the ground as to where its going to hit you. Blizzard NEEDS to make it more clear to see
MythicosQc74: I'm a VERY casual player, and I already have difficulty navigating the tempering recipes to find the one I want as it stands right now... That list of 20-30 recipe categories in a completely random order is nightmare-inducing.
eagleotto2527: I hope they rebalance the difficulty, seems its way too easy, i want a little challenge when i am leveling and not just the very end of the hardest difficulty
ultrasone8450: Hey raxx i know u dont care about it but put in the document for blizzard that they need to fix ray tracing. It cost too much fps and its not making a noticible diffrience in game ( not working properly)
