johanschneider4802: My main issue with Diablo 4 is how, because of the level scaling, you never get that feeling that you become really powerful. You start pretty strong and you are kind of like that throughout the whole game. In PoE, you get an amazing feeling when you feel like your build is coming online, you’ve finally become powerful and you can feel it.

hachri80: In my opinion the class identity in D4 is in a bad state right now. If you want do play a strong Druid, you have to be one that constantly switches between wolf/human/bear form and deal a lot of lightning damage, if you drank a health potion 4 seconds after howling.
My fantasy is different. I would like to play a druid or sorcerer that has a strong connection to a spirit animal or a certain element. Both playstyles should be equally playable.
kevinsims5791: In poe2s current state you are forced to build energy shield, and people dont seem to enjoy the mace weapon which is the only melee strength weapon at the moment. Skill gems being tied to weapons also puts a chokehold on your build and what upgrades, skills, and weapons you hold. If you want to have minions its best to wield a sceptre. Other weapons dont provide ally/minion bonuses and sceptres increase your spirit therefore increasing your army size. I wanted to be a tanky up close and personal cold sorceress but i cant. I want a shield but there is no melee weapon i can use that upgrades my cold spells. Im forced to use a wand. There are no cold melee ranged spells except froze nova. All of this you encounter as you level. In d4 you dont have this since there is actual class fantasy and your class wields either a 2 handers or one hands and an off hand. Skills arent tied to the weapons you get new skills by leveling. All skills in d4 will get you through all content in the game unless you want to push your character to its highest and beat others well then thats when not everything becomes "viable".
D4 has much more endgame activities to do than poe2 but poe2s mapping is basically endless and it is customizeable to make it so.

againstalladsgames: POE 2 is superior but does have problems. The crafting system is awful. The loot pool is so diluted with things that aren’t for your character this makes farming worse than it needs to be. The one shot mechanics of regular ads needs adjusting.

robertszilvers3887: Two different games. Nothing to compare. Poe2 is more p2w, it isnt free. D4 you need to buy, lot of people can't afford that. I remember when everyone said D4 is bad, i didn't buy a game, but one of my friends was playing and i bought a game, i liked simple game, easy to understand, if i want to spend minimal time in game. Lot of side things to do, what are rewarding. I think there isn't any issues in game. They made is it is, thats all. Poe 2 awful crossover game. I basically bought it two times, didnt get 2x bank stacks because its limited in each platform. Rng, crafting is bad. Gambling with gold for items, to level up if you don't get orbs. I liked first act it felt challenging after that i didn't like a game. I could one shot every Boss. I spend lot of gold for respect ( it means you cant test lot of different playstyle or test things out) it feels awful when you don't want to test crafting, because you never know when you will be stuck, and you need to use trade market. Some of places isn't though well, but it is beta and i hope they will change lot of things, right now it feels more bug hype of game and lot of YouTubers have ads, because poe2 paid them. For me, i don't see this game good ore better than d4, just different. Thats all, it was my opinion. Poe2 community when you say something bad is very toxic. That is big downfall to. Never had such experience in D4.
