1ButtonDash: expansion 2 they need to do something massive to the game and change it immensely. It CANNOT just be another area with a lame story like this last one. They need to do something massive to loot in this game. And I'm not just talking "add set items" no. They need to add a new sort of item type. Items that maybe can have 4-6 sockets. Add jewels and charms, expand on runes and allow us to make REAL runeword items. Add some sort of new progression for our chracters too... not just 1 new paragon board. Something totally new. If they do the same sort of expansion instead of being innovative, then I COULD see this being the final expansion.
txhookey5608: My biggest issue with current D4 is stash space and unnecessary frustration. The socketable tab is just annoying to manage. They added runes to mythic trans but did not create enough space in the socketable tab to store them. Now you have to rotate between stash and tab or miss a rune you needed. Then they throw in the gems to add another item to fill the socketable tab. The easy answer is a rune tab that can hold every rune in the game. That is a benefit in two ways. First you actually know where they are stored and there is room for them all. Second, you can see how many you are missing by the blank spaces. Super easy low IQ fix.
Bosnerdly: First, the devs had to adjust to what players wanted out of D4.
Second, they had to see how PoE2 was gonna affect the ARPG landscape.
Hopefully now they have a clear vision of where everything stands, and they can really focus on making the right game.
