tehbantha21: This video gave me the Diablo fix I needed, and showed me that I do not need to pay for this expansion. Lackluster, especially for having paid full price for a full game a year ago that was half baked at launch. This feels like them taking advantage of the brand loyalty they developed years ago and taking as much money in as they can while delivering content that really should have been free/included at launch to make the game more polished.

I played enough WoW and Destiny 2 on European servers to know that's it's a major mistake to think people will play together and communicate. IMO, this is a mistake. But I hope D4X1 will find its audience and that you'll all have fun. Because from here, this confirms that this game is not for me (and that's okay too).
Have fun people, that all that matters. I'll go find it somewhere else.

Celdoir: I find the Dark Citadel content unfortunate. I tend to play solo but I'll do raid/group stuff. Why I don't like it is that in all previous diablo games (not counting immortal) a solo player could do all content. What they should have done is allowed for an AI companion like the Delves in WoW. Scale it appropriately so that real groups are far more efficient but solo people can still do it if they wish. Many don't want MMO-Diablo. They just want an awesome diablo game.

The fact that DM is pleasantly surprised also tell us that sometimes it’s better to just know nothing and get into the game directly. I know it’s kinda contradicting the idea of videos like this, but if you really want to have a fresh experience and be surprised.. don’t watch the video you’re watching?
