hdf001: The problem I have is the lack of 2-3 GA equipment. I farm a lot of bosses, already got 6 mythics, but GA drop rate is way too low. GA equipment (ancestral and uniques) needs to have drop buff.
supremeboy: lol 140 per kill. So you farm a lot time to get boss summon mats some need 12 mats. You get up to 140 raw mats and thats like what 3 rolls with masterwork and gone?
F this. I'm paragon 270 and i gave up. The constant raw hide issue is just not fun. I have gear but i cant improve because the RNG compared to how long it take to farm raw mats is stupid. We should never run out of raw mats in the very late endgame. It should be about forgotten souls and other rare mats FIRST before you run out raw hides.
quitwastinmytime: Edit: I always forget that people are just buying equipment instead of playing the game. @@ I'm not sure what everyone needs all this masterworking for. It takes gear to need masterworking and I never find it. I don't even have a single 2GA piece worth equipping. I calculate I have droipped at least 13,000 uniques just from boss fights. I have 4 uniques equipped and even one of those isn't ancestral. I have only one top tier 3GA unique, which I will use if I ever make a Sorceress. The point is, I have my gear with - mostly- the 1GA I really need and haven't found anything better than that in a long time to masterwork.

ener11454: This has been tested, NMD and IH are comparable in obducite per minute, there is no reason to restrict farming to IH. NMD also gives better mats than IH. You really should be doing NMD at least until you get the 15% XP bonus and then moving on to other activities. This misconception that NMD are terrible for obducite is a lot of the reason people are low on crafting mats.
Barricade just did a video with actual numbers and they pretty much showed that IH is probably the worst place to farm obducite if you also need crafting mats, it is a big mistake everyone is making. IH is where you should look at farming the 200 chest and XP, not where you should farm for masterworking.
