Floorberry: I think your solution over complicates it. If you want to do the raid solo you should be able to fill out your party with mercenaries

lrdgambit6959: My only hope is that this does not turn into Diablo immortal, where you can not play the game unless you are in a group. There are people who like to play solo.

Saphire_Throated_Carpenter_Ant: I hope they aren't overcomplicated. The parts in Destiny raids where different players have to do specific things at the same time have to be some of the most toxic moments I've ever experienced in video game history.

It better be solo or have matchmaking and not be overly complicated because every game I’ve played with “raids” requires microphones to communicate the complicated puzzles or specific classes in said group d4 just doesn’t lend itself to traditional raids…
kiyoma2237: they maybe could fix the solo-ability of the "Raids" with the mercenaries. Instead of 3 other players, you can walk in with 3 of the mercenaries to do tasks and help with damage, tanking etc.
Edit: Well, we get a group finder and have to be minimum two players to enter xD
Darbobski: I find it interesting that adding old ideas is seen as something new by Blizzard. I find that there is no charm in D4 compared to what was captured in D2 and a little bit in D3 by the end of it's run. The Devs just feel a bit caged by either nostalgia or corporate demands, but it is my opinion that they are shooting for the middle and barely finding the bottom. No, I do not think "D4 bad", I just feel like it is wasting a lot of potential with an IP that has a huge audience. I'm just happy we ARPG fans have options these days.

Zsokorad: I really hope the mercenaries aren't required to be good. I hated that about D3. Have an option for damage/stat boost if you choose to not take one.
