Para 300 is insane and the returns are diminishing.
It’s just…. not fun anymore. It’s a gear driven game, and ancestral gear is just too rare.

The insistence on generators and spenders AGAIN, even after D3... Just yeah, enough said. Unless you're playing the game until PoE2 releases then I have no idea what you guys see in that game. chrisb5000: Not wanting to fix/nerf the spiritborn based on an online poll is dumb. Basically they don't mind people leaving and not playing season 6 and quitting till season 7 because there is no point to keep playing. Most that played a spiriborn already one shot everything. There is no reason to roll another class that will feel like trash. In past seasons once you max out one class you play another class and then another class. Because they are all fairly even to each other. But with this season after you play Spiritborn, no one in their right mind would want to play the other classes because they are so far below and feel like utter garbage. So it's best just to quit till season 7. The devs basically acted like they don't mind if everyone quits and no one plays till season 7 with their stubborn view on not wanting to fix the spiritborn. They even said that with the insignificant buffs they are giving the other classes they still won't be remotely close to the spirit born.
xathlak: Mephisto isn't coming until there's an expansion where you fight him in the campaign... As for seasons, the issue is that half the time they're just centered around things that should have been in the game since launch, like the season of loot. If it's the season of the armory with nothing more in terms of a seasonal story it's just them continuing the development of the game, which should have been finished before they even released the game.

Just one year of most those still clinging on to "the good ol' days" taking a break would see some massive changes REAL quick.

alessioleporati1478: This doesn’t sound like new drama. This sounds the same drama we’ve been having all month except nothing’s changed. The SB is still broken but at least Blizzard did fix the stability issues however there are still some annoying bugs like one bug causing the game sound to turn off. Or the stables still being laggy. Also there are some missing cosmetics.
simrock_: It's the usual Blizzard theme, it's been going that way in WoW already for years, good expansion, mid/bad expansion, good expansion, mid/bad expansion (until it was just bad expansions). It always seemed like they had an A and a B team working on the expansions in an alternating fashion. Get people hyped, then coast, hype, coast. As long as people don't leave completely they still make their money because people hope that there's two good ones in a row, which never happens.
