Flaza54: "hey folks, this is wanker" on the automatic cc is beautiful
JasmineDubstep: Loot filter discussion is hilarious. D3 legit fixed it with pets salvaging all the trash. It is just a matter of time.
Default_username007: Turn on closed captions, "Hey folks this is ...."
W generated captions.
esburn7895: bro the subtitles of this video auto play while scrolling thumbnails on my phone just said “hey folks, this is wanker…”
DPGBehler: My mind went to Deckard Cain. Remember “Hello, my friend.”
z0ttel89: Man.... Rhykker, I've been a defender of D4 for the longest time, but I've lately joined team 'D4 bad'. I'm sorry.
I was so excited before release and during beta and even after release... even though many people complained, I loved that the game had it's own identity and vision.
Now, all of that vision and identity is completely gone and in my opinion, the big streamers and 'community' are at fault.
I hate how (D3) streamers basically blackmailed Blizz into casual-ifying the game more and more until none of the identity and difficulty the game actually had (in beta / at release) was left.
Now, the game is a hollow shell of itself that doesn't know where to go and who it actually is.
Remember when they said during the Blizzcon announcement that the game was going back to D2's darker roots?
Now we have sparkly goblins, goofy christmas events and soon we'll probably have D3's unicorn level back.
I don't care about D4 anymore at this point. They lost me.
Looking forward to Last Epoch S2 and all new Poe 1 2 content.
lordmuro123: so its diablo 3.5 not 4 ?
thecaneater: D4 devs, out of ideas: How 'bout we just copy D3 goblins?
Blizz: Employee of the month!
Sigh, I have less than zero hope for the Diablo franchise, or Blizzard in general.
SlugDemon6: I wish there was a goblin that spawned a portal that takes you to a unique dungeon, like in D3.
DarkenRahl: The auto captions dont like Rhykker thats for sure :D
GilgameshGDLK: D3's altar has an upgrade that auto-salvages commons, etc..... they can just make that function your PET's job in D4...
erikschuster4293: diablo 4 slowly becoming diablo 3. . . .
sirhammon: D4 needs surprises. Unique gameplay constantly. Something new all the time to get you going, "Oh wow did you just see that?" A combination lock style system: 6 tumblers, 10 options each, 1 million possible outcomes. Wudijo talked about this with comparing D4 and D3. The 10 options (like pylons, elite locations, map layouts, etc) have to be balanced incrementally over about a year.
And then do the same for builds, quests, world bosses, etc so you get 1 million viable builds, 1 million unique quests, 1 million different world boss fights. It's not about having 20 different things to do, but them all being basically the same every time. Even D3, having 1 thing to do, had a unique rift virtually every time.
sirhammon: D4 loot filter: We could have the pet run to the loot and bury anything you don't want. You train your pet on what to like by giving it crap to bury and whenever if sees anything like that, it will bury it. Or you can give show it an item you want and give it some food if it brings it to you and you just need to make sure you have food to keep rewarding it everything it brings you a great item.
ferrite1707: If they reintroduce the cube, I will be so happy. There are several builds that are very squeezed for item slots. It couldn't work as easily as it did in D3 since different powers can be found on different item types. Maybe 1 slot for offensive, 1 for defensive and 1 for utility.
PizzaTime727: Missing the goblin that drops pets, and of course the rainbow gob!
Complication84: They added another Diablo 3 feature? No way! D4 team is top notch!
Squeebop: Still waiting for a D4 endgame. Also, how do you not have a roadmap for D4? Really breaks my heart how they've handled Diablo. Looking around my office at all the Diablo themed items and it just makes me sad the direction blizzard has taken.
williampulley: You know those purple portals you saw a few times last week. Yeah, you'll never see one again
BobMotster: Man, I wanna play Last Epoch so much. The game has so many good things about it. Except one - the graphics. I cannot go back to that level of graphics fidelity after playing Diablo IV and PoE 2.
sepamoyas11: Kind of a semi casual gamer here. Love your content as source of news. I'd suggest adding more visual media to accompany and add better context to your monologues. Sometimes you talk about games that may not be well known and a lack of images makes difficult to create a better connection with the subject at hand.
Keep up the good work. Your videos acompany me as I do laundry every saturday morning and I look forward to hearing from one of my favourites franchises, Diablo.
Greetings from Chile.
Pixelsoep: I miss the time game developers were just a bunch of dudes in an attic or garage, looking at eachother and going: "So, what are we gonna do?" and one of them going: "Let's make something badass, where you can shoot stuff in the face".
As opposed to teams being assigned to projects (they might not have chosen if it were up to them).
shawn4387: It’s funny how D3 is still so much better than D4 I’ve actually been having fun playing D3 this season
JDrgaon911: Last Epoch season 2 is going to be amazing. Bringing in their tale of atlas maps, and making their crafting system that much better than any other game. April 2 can’t come quick enough.
mightyn8: Re: loot filters, I remember they said the same thing about armories - that they weren't going to add them to D4 - but now they are. So I think as long as we keep complaining enough about the state of looting and having way too many trash items, they should eventually listen. I absolutely agree with Rhykker's idea, to just have certain items that you choose to get auto-converted to crafting materials when they drop.
joex222: The only comment i could find about avowed was a comment sayign they haven't played it. Ive decided I'm going to buy it with an open mind, but if i absolutly hate it, I'm going to unsub.
SplattedRabbit: WASD-Movement is just so incredibly good. Of course we use it in a toon of Games but the first time I used it in an ARPG'ish Game, was in V Rising and it is just so much better. Hope this continues and spreads to more games while at the same time getting better and better!
