MrAgill1970: The tempering limitations bit me yesterday. I play with my wife, and she was fortunate enough to get a piece of gear with two stars on it (forget what that gear is called). When she was sleeping I thought I would do her the favor of tempering the item, specifically to enhance her preferred build. She's not into the maintenance of the game, just wants to jump in and play, so I take care of stuff like this when I have some time to do so. The gods of rolls were against me, and I wound up with a temper that does absolutely zero for her, which sucks. Yeah it's still better than what she had, which was still legacy, but it left a pretty sour taste in my mouth.
thrawn5k: Gear drops are already stupidly low RNG to get what you want. Now you are telling me I need to run it again thru another RNG to see if my good RNG item can survive another RNG mechanic so I can use it. Pretty lame IMO. Drop the re-roll limits, or add a way to reset it.

Corrupted1985: If the tempering is missed up on a god tier item and the tempers attempts are gone u should be a way to reset the temper attempts using some kind of rare item drop like a spark or something
jf2849: The tempering limit is terrible because too often we are getting trolled. We’ve all had it reroll the same bad stat 4 or 5 times in a row. This is not bad luck this is the game just messing with us.
