My guess is that the next class will be a paladin. I've seen far more demands for that class than any other.
-ndc-bla9770: I would strongly recommend Blizzard/Microsoft and whoever else is pulling the strings to first balance D4 somewhat decently and get a handle on the mess they create every season. We’re in season 7 with an expansion, and there hasn’t been a single season where we didn’t have game-breaking bugs that left only 1-2 "playable" classes. If they can manage this somewhat, they should maintain this level for a few seasons and then slowly start thinking about a new expansion.
Until then, they should try to take D4 out of beta after 1 year and following the expansion. And yes, I’ve been playing D4 since the beta, pretty much every season, even though I usually quit after 3-4 weeks because I’ve already finished the season (para 250 is more than enough). That’s probably why I’m constantly frustrated. That said, season 7 was one of the better seasons for me – probably because it reminded me of season 2.

whereswaldo6396: My favorite part about builds and items in d3 when it comes to sets was when they reworked captain crimsons and aughilds and the other 2 to 3 piece sets to actually be meaningful. I loved mixing and matching different sets as opposed to only using one 6 piece set. Also kanais cube allowed legendaries to not be completely overlooked and overshadowed by sets because u still had a way to incorporate them into your build. D4 needs something like this. Would do wonders for build diversity and creating builds in the game

They are dumping a cash grab out to fight off the loss of players they are getting from PoE 2 and yes that time frame lines up EXACTLY before or after PoE 2 will be releasing. I don't and won't play either D4 or PoE 2 at ALL. I find both games lack luster in many ways. After this last FIASCO they released and the poor state diablo 4 released in... why would ANYONE expect blizzard to do the right thing any longer?? The BEST thing they could do is OWN UP to the failures... GIVE THEIR PLAYERS ALL WHAT THEY WANTED FROM THE BEGINNING... SOMETHING BETTER THAN D3.... and stop CHARGING 'more money' for TRASH. I will NEVER buy another blizzard product and Tencent (who now OWNS PoE 2) can shove that right up their butt. There are STILL better RPGs out there than BOTH of them. I don't want a trash game made for five year olds and I don't want a game that I have to sink my entire life into to get a 'gem.' The ONLY thing that is going to save D4 is:
1. Releasing THREE classes that ALIGN WITH DIABLO LORE i.e paladin, crusader, cleric, holy warrior or SOMETHING that MEANS something to PLAYERS.
2. Getting RID of the 'cash shop' and putting SKINS IN THE GAME THEY ALREADY PAID FOR.
3. Putting DYNAMIC SOLO PLAYER CONTENT IN THE GAME and getting OFF the 'seasons' band wagon for CASH GRABS. You realize that's ALL that BS nonsense is... right? LINING UP A CASH GRAB FOR EACH BUSINESS QUARTER.
4. FIRING ANY DEV THAT STATES "it's too hard to balance the classes game etc..." FIRE THEM.
5. FIRING IMMEDIATELY THE PERSON(S) who wrote that TRASH VoH story and 'zone'. Need a clue??? GO HIRE SOMEONE WHO HAS ACTUALLY READ THE D4 LORE. And YES... STORY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR WHEN TRYING TO GET SOMEONE INVESTED IN A GAME. Nintendo is where you go for spazoid mongo screen blasting game play.
Will they do this?? Almost a GUARANTEED NO. Because they are arrogant, stupid, lazy and live in a bubble.

Doing one with my barb on hc and it was challenging but got my first tick of a trillion with earthquake n feels good being self made,watching all the people die pushing pit 115 pits plus using the glass cannon builds is hilarious but i love leveling them for the extra xp to hit paragon 300.
Superawesomegeekshow: Agree. Sets should be no more than 4. So yeah 2, 3 and 4 piece sets. If they do 6 or even 7 like in Diablo III, then all our spots are basically taken by just one set and most unique and legendary items would just go away and never be used. Maybe even mythics. I’d like to keep all items relevant when sets come to the game.
