jf2849: If you’re trying to level a bunch of alts you’re probably just happy with the xp boost. At this point in the game you’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you expect the devs to do anything amazing. They don’t know what they’re doing, probably lazy, and tried to appeal to a broader audience (when the game is made for everyone it ends up being for no one). If you want to enjoy this game you have to lower your hopes it’s not amazing but it is a decent ARPG if you just see it for what it is and you’re ok with playing an average game you’ll be far happier with your D4 experience.
The_Wanderer1: The devs are just so far disconnected from the player base that they literally have no idea how to make the game fun for players. That’s the root of the problem.

BobMotster: Something that I heard on a couple of streams and something I like too - having different flavours of goblins (crafting mats, gems, gold, COSMETICS) in Diablo III was awesome.
It gave us the thrill of the hunt that is missing with Diablo IV's current implementation of goblins.
You want a rare transmog that drops only from goblins? You need a quick injection of 15M gold? You need a sack of gems? Whatever it is that you want/need it was interesting to finally encounter the goblin that dropped it. People jumped with anticipation when they heard the goblin's cry in the distance.
Yeah, I know what some will say - "Boohoo, Bob, you want Diablo III to be copied into Diablo IV". Well, look, if it's working great, why not carry it over? It's the same game series ffs.
So what, it's a crime to continue evolving one's own game systems now?
And yes, I want companions picking up items from the ground for me in Diablo IV too. I'm also looking forward to a system a la "Altar of Rites" to come to Diablo IV as well. Sue me
itsJACKO: Since the goblin event started I was only seeing one goblin at a time in dungeons and helltide, but earlier while I was farming helltide for my seasonal quest progression I came across 4 goblins at the same time in world tier 4. Two of the treasure bags were 925’s

Actually exciting stuff for players to go 'Wow, im so happy i logged in during this event' but it honestly just feels like another day of Diablo and the struggle with gold is way too real right now. Season 4 added some great things but the frustrating stuff is pretty bad.
