As an avid Diablo fan for my entire life I gave poe1 a try after suffering with D3 and now D4 and it brought me back to a time where I used to remember how developers used to have true passion on creating a game for gamers. kaizer-777: The base campaign was a huge disappointment to me. I found no part of it to be particularly memorable. Nothing tickles the loins in this game like going to Act 2 in D2 and the music kicks in with the sound of falling sand. I've played through the D4 campaign 3 times, and I couldn't even tell you how many acts there are. The first time I played it, I didn't even notice that Andariel was a boss; I either somehow skipped that fight or just completely missed that it was her. No clue.
TheNomadJack: It wouldn't surprise me if D4 and Vessel of Hatred go on DISCOUNT ahead of the PoE2 launch. Might be worth holding out for a little bit.
Shame the campaign isn't a banger. Dark Citadel looks cool though.

The biggest issue i have is skill tree is bad, boring and it feels like everyone and there mom is playing the same build.
Unless you already love d4 i dont see how this expansion attracts people were already pretty disappointed with the game. I'll wait for poe2, maybe i just want a deeper arpg. Even last epoch has more interesting builds. less content, yes but still more engaging for me personally.

ChelleyMadison: They could have designed it to work in co-op or not, all my friends and loved ones moved on from the game. You add companions but you don’t take the opportunity to make them useable in the one major addition to the game outside of a new class.
